Feed Preprocessing Stage
Coarse crushing process
The pretreated cable segments are fed into the coarse crushing chamber of the copper wire granulator. The screw conveyor inside the chamber evenly feeds the materials into the high-speed rotating coarse crushing cutter set. The high-speed rotating blades cut, extrude and tear the cables, breaking them down into a mixture of copper cores and plastic sheaths
Fine crushing
The mixed materials after coarse crushing are fed into the fine crushing chamber, where the cutters perform secondary crushing to completely separate the copper cores from the plastic sheaths, forming a mixture of copper particles and plastic pellets.
Air separation
The mixed materials after fine crushing are fed into the air separation system. The fan generates directional airflow, which separates the less dense plastic particles by leveraging the density difference between copper and plastic. The separated copper particles and plastic pellets are then conveyed to their respective product bins via a vibrating screen
Advantage
The final products can achieve a copper purity of over 98%, which can be directly used as smelting raw materials. The entire process adopts physical separation, fully complying with the national environmental protection industrial policies
